Customer had a problem with an ageing Small Business Server running Exchange which was becoming a problem to the in-house email solution and wanted an e-mail solution which did not require an in-house Server any more, so that it could be reached from any location with an internet connection, and used with a range of different computing and mobile devices.
Exchange Essentials was configured for the customer, and user accounts were configured for each user on the system. email was redirected to the Exchange Essentials Server and the system was fully enabled. This also included configuration of ExchangeDefender Essentials for Anti-Spam and Anti-Virus filtering of all emails.
User email data was extracted from the Exchange Server and them imported into Exchange Essentials via each users copy of Outlook.
The old Small Business Server was removed from the system (data was moved to a cloud storage system with in-house backup), all users could access their email from any location with an internet connection using Outlook, Outlook Web Access, Android phones and tablets or iOS devices such as iPads and iPhones.
Users can check their own spam systems by logging into a web portal and can release any emails that are required, this will be remembered by the system for future emails.
Also in the event of an in-house email system failure, the users can logon to an emergency web system to send / receive emails as required.
