Customer had a problem with accessing data held on a Server over slow ADSL connections from the main office to branch offices and home offices for several company employees.
Synology NAS devices were installed at the main office and at the branch offices and were linked together using Google Drive, all data became accessible instantly and any new files or updated files were synchronized between all devices in the main and branch offices.
Home users could also access the data folders as required by accessing the Google Drive data using local Google Drive Sync software
Google Drive Sync was also used to share files from Google Drive back to a shared drive on the Original Server so that several users did not need additional shared drives adding to their systems.
All users in the main office, branch offices and home offices can now be accessed quickly and all data files either new or updated are automatically synchronized to all sites using Synology NAS devices or via Google Drive Sync.
